An interesting trip

Yesterday,Miss Huang and Mr Wang brought us to Saint Hilder's Primary School to look at the exhibition held by the gifted children.When we reached there,we were split ed into two groups.The girls went to play the games and the boys went to look at the exhibition,then we swooped. Iplayed lots of fun and educational games that teaches us English and Mathematics.After that,I went to look at the exhibition.The students certainly did a great job!They invented many new things such as the shoe ring to hold on to our shoe laces when we are running to prevent us from tripping on it.I enjoyed this trip very much and learned many things from it.

Happy Teacher's Day

Today,our school celebrated Teacher's Day.There are many performances presented to the teachers.I enjoyed watching them.My favourite is the circus dance.I think that all the performers had put in much effort to practise and perform.Meanwhile,I sincerely wish all the teachers a Happy Teacher's Day!

Akeelah and the bee

After watching the show 'Akeelah and the bee',I think that we should not be a racist and every race will have a chance to win.I think that on the eve of the spelling bee night,Dylan was very nervous as his father kept scolding him on the night ,asking him to win the spelling bee.Akeelah knew that Dylan desperately wanted to win the spelling bee and she deliberately spelt a word wrongly.In the end,both of them were the champion and brought home a trophy each.

My Cousin

Yesterday,I went to my grandmother house to visit my cousin as we have learnt that she had injured herself during a learning journey to Pasir Ris Chalet.She needed a few stitches on her chin to stop the blood.She told me that she tripped onto something and fell flat on the floor.Her friends gave her all sorts of plaster and tissue but still could could not stop the blood from flowing.In the end,her teacher sent her to Changi Hospital.She will be going to polyclinic on Monday to take out her stitches.

Editors for the day!

Today,Miss Huang and Miss Yong brought us to the computer lab.We were given option whether we want to work individually or in pairs.I have decided to work in pairs as I think that two heads are better than one!My partner was Neela.We went in to the 'bookworm' website and searched for an essay to edit.It was very fun(as though we were real editors).I have learned much things from this lesson and I think that editors are very powerful.Without them,all the books in the world will be full of mistakes.

Today,was a fine and clear day.Mdm Noor told us that next week is her last week in this school.Although am very sad,I want to wish her all the best in her new school and hope that she will get her diploma.=)

NE show

We are going to the NE(national education)show on the 21 of July at Marina Bay.I am so excited.We are expected to be in school by 1.30p.m.The show will end at about 11 to 12.Yippee!My parent have allowed me to go.I am looking forward to it.
